Production Artist Portfolio
About Me
With seven years of experience working onsite at Apple through Hogarth WW, I played a key role in the production of the iPhone pages, from iPhone 8 through iPhone 15, helping bring Apple's product storytelling to life. As a Senior Production Artist, my work extended beyond traditional production work, blending creativity with technology to support innovative web experiences in the “creative tech” process. I collaborated closely with developers to deliver high-quality images optimized for unique animations and seamless transitions on the Apple website. Below are some of the standout projects I contributed to during my time in this role.
iPhone 8
This “hero” image for the iPhone 8 was comprised of many images and masks, so that the two phones could slide independently with the scroll of the page and allow for corresponding reflections in the phones and the 8 text.
iPhone Xr
This transition featured on the iPhone Xr page was a challenge to get the scaling and smoothness of the animations correct. The hardware was provided at several sizes, with several masks, and separated screens were used to achieve the affect.
This is another complex, multipart transition that required working closely with design and development to create this fantastic, dynamic experience as you scroll down the page.
iPhone 11 Pro
This feature on the iPhone 11 Pro page involved a scaled hardware asset with a separate screen, and screen elements to create a seamless transition from video into still image.
iPhone 12 Pro
This pixel-perfect image of a high contrast phone at an angle with water droplets showcases my skills troubleshooting common image issues such as stair-stepping, haloing, and noisy images.
This scroll animation was created by producing a separate hardware, screen, and separate elements for the tv show images and names, as well as svgs for the download animations next to the screen. The content had to be produced in a standardized way that was easy to update, as the show content was updated several times.
iPhone 13 Pro
This gallery of photographs taken on iPhone had an animation where the images slid to the center of the screen and then they were masked out by bold text. The quality and vibrancy of the images are upheld even in situations where they are moving and require scale changes.
iPhone 14
This complication of images was a gallery where the content would change to reflect all of the available phone colors. The images needed to be produced carefully so that there was no shift or movement of the images when the color was changed.
